Megan L Hammersley
Dr Megan Hammersley is a Lecturer in Public Health at the University of Wollongong. She brings a wealth of experience spanning over 20 years as a public health nutritionist and accredited practising dietitian. Her expertise positions her as a researcher with a deep understanding of health behaviour change and childhood nutrition. She is a key member of the University of Wollongong Early Start research team, which has a global reputation for leading innovative interdisciplinary child health research. She collaborates with health promotion practitioners from NSW local health districts, overseeing and evaluating projects in early childhood education and care and outside of school hours care. She has a strong interest in translating research into practice, with a particular focus on priority populations.
