Clare F Dix
I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian, working as a Clinical Dietitian for Queensland Health, and as a Research Academic at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. I completed my Bachelor of Science and Masters of Dietetic Studies at the University of Queensland, and was awarded a PhD in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2018. My PhD investigated the effect of Sleeve Gastrectomy on Vitamin D status, and the links between vitamin D, obesity and Bariatric surgery. My research interests include chronic disease prevention, specifically obesity associated diseases, child health and nutrition, maternal nutrition, and nutrigenetics.
